160 years of Cricket tradition

Broxbourne Cricket Club was established in 1848, and today the club has facilities second to none, including two brand new re-laid squares, covers, a purpose built scorebox, excellent changing room, showers, bar facilities.
The club runs four adult teams on a Saturday and two on a Sunday; there are also mid-week games.
All three Saturday teams play in the Herts. Cricket League. We enter the Herts Count Cup on Sundays and also compete in the Chess Valley League, but all other Sunday matches are friendlies.
Broxbourne Cricket Club requires players and umpires for the coming season. We have first-class facilities at Mill Lane, one of the finest cricket grounds in the county, complemented by the club's burgeoning social scene. Players of all standards are welcome. Inexperienced umpire volunteers will be given full training. For more details contact either club chairman Tony Rhodes or club captain Joel Bailey .
In addition there is a thriving Colts Section, with over 100 junior members in squads at U/11, U/13, and U/15 age groups. Matches are played every week in the South East Herts. Colts League, and there are also friendlies.
Cricket Club Membership offers use throughout the year of the Club Bar and Lounge, half-price membership of the other Sections and includes Personal Injury Insurance.
